What is MDMS Online?
MDMS Online is a comprehensive cloud-based platform designed specifically for film distributors in India. It centralizes all back-office operations including release planning, theatre circuit management, VPF ordering, box office collection tracking, contract management, e-invoicing automation, and financial accounting integration. Our platform streamlines the entire distribution workflow from planning to settlement.
How is pricing calculated?
We offer two pricing models: (1) Annual Subscription Model: ₹3 lakh per year plus ₹50,000 per movie (up to 500 theatres) with ₹50 per additional theatre, including 1-year cloud data retention. (2) No Subscription Model: ₹75,000 per movie (up to 500 theatres) with ₹60 per additional theatre, with Excel download only upon run closure. Box Office Collection Entry service is priced at ₹15 per theatre per week with a minimum of 4 weeks.
What happens to my data after run closure?
Data retention depends on your pricing model: Subscription customers get cloud data retained for 1 year after run closure, accessible anytime through the dashboard. Non-subscription customers receive an Excel download upon run closure. All data is securely stored on cloud infrastructure with regular backups during the active period.
Which regions and languages do you support?
MDMS Online serves film distributors across India, supporting both domestic and international distribution requirements. The platform handles multi-language content distribution and includes features for territory-wise rights management and regional theatre circuit tracking.
How does the VPF Ordering Service work?
Our VPF (Virtual Print Fee) Ordering Service streamlines the digital cinema content delivery process. You can place VPF orders directly through the platform, track order status in real-time, manage KDM (Key Delivery Message) scheduling, and maintain a complete audit trail of all VPF transactions linked to your theatre circuits and movie releases.
Can MDMS integrate with my existing accounting software?
Yes, MDMS Online offers financial accounting integration capabilities. Our platform can integrate with popular accounting software used in India, enabling automatic synchronization of invoicing, credit/debit notes, and collection data. This eliminates double entry and ensures your financial records are always up to date.
What is included in Theatre Contract & Audit Management?
Our Theatre Contract & Audit Management module helps you maintain digital contracts with theatre owners, track revenue sharing agreements, monitor compliance, schedule and record audit visits, flag discrepancies in collection reports, and maintain a complete history of all theatre relationships and transactions.
